Greenpeace fit gas masks to London's statues, by Feral Things on Apr 18, 2016 20:11:40 GMT 1, Greenpeace activists have fitted gas masks to 15 of London's most iconic statues to highlight the issue of air pollution in the city.  These include the 169' tall Nelson's Column, as well as statues of Oliver Cromwell, Sherlock Holmes and Eros.

Air pollution is responsible for cutting short 40,000 lives every year in the UK and if you're interested you can sign a petition urging the government to adopt and implement a Clean Air Plan here.
