Advice, by smokey on May 15, 2016 15:19:35 GMT 1, Not sure where to post as it's not exactly urban or street art related, but knowing most of us just love art in general, thought I'd ask. As some of you know, I live in a very small(& sadly still backwards thinking town in the southern U.S.). Just recently found out one of the students at my wife's school for the arts has been accepted to attend the Paris School of Arts. Needless to say that isn't common here. He's a very nice chap & we're fortunate to have a piece he did "killing time" gracing our walls. My question is would anyone be interested in seeing his work and if appreciated do you guys think taking offers or raffle would be the best option? Just looking to raise some money for the young man while at the same time showing his mom his work is appreciated outside of our hick town. She appears to be against him following his art dreams. Thanks so much for any input & if needed feel free to move to the appropriate section. Hope to get in touch with him & get some pics posted. Thanks again guys!!

IMO it's hard to say what to do for this guy until we've seen the pieces. So posting some pics would be best, then members could either buy out right or could tell you to do a raffle.

Advice, by agu on May 15, 2016 15:53:56 GMT 1, Always happy to see the efforts of an artist. Please pass my congratulations on to your friend. The acceptance to PSA is really quite something. Great to see some one helping another person file their dreams, well done you. Respect.

Advice, by Coach on May 15, 2016 16:00:26 GMT 1, I am always interested in seeing the work of an artist. Especially a budding new artist. Stick pictures up. Take it from there.

Advice, by smokey on May 15, 2016 18:22:05 GMT 1, Thanks guys!! Hoping to get some pix from him soon. We're scheming with the local gallery where he works & hoping to do a fundraiser here in town along with other things. My main reason was if anything sold to prove to his family just how talented he is & what an honor being accepted there, especially someone from our small town truly is.
