First one reminds me of Damien Hirst a little bit?
Would look better without the Sharks on the heads

As you probably know. It's trendy for urban artists to produce prints which have an environmental eco socia conscience message.
My print "Sparkly Sharkly" is all about the environment and saving the planet.
If we continue to pollute the planet and genetically modify crops and mess with nature we will end up with deformed sharks and fish and global warming we will end up underwater with fish on our heads.
Plus in Africa poor people carry huge fish on their heads and we have to be aware of the great divide of the rich consumers who ignore the poor.
Plus it's about art history.
A slight take on Van Gogh portraits with the bright colors, swirly gold and daubs of paint melanged with and inspiration of Picasso's painting of a woman with a fish hat, plus of course a bit of cubism. Inspired by living close toVan Goghs vinyards etc and Picasso's old haunts in the sunny south of France.
Or just a satirical portrait of Damien Hirst with a reference to his famous shark in a tank which links back to Picasso and cubism.
You can select which of the above is hype and which is real.
People like it and it's bright and colorful and portrait painting goes back centuries.
The print is hand finished which takes time. I paid the printer too. Plus I made a stencil from a couple of the prints and freehand sprayed and painted an alternative original portrait which is free with the print.

New Print by Ploppi. , by Deleted on May 24, 2016 18:22:05 GMT 1, Do u mean it would look better if the paper (print) was blank?
The freehand stencil shark heads the stencil made from a print so it's like a shadow or another portrait but abstract and freehand. I think they go well together.
Plus if I didn't do the shark I couldn't do this.

New Print by Ploppi. , by Deleted on May 24, 2016 18:45:49 GMT 1, I'll add him later as the jpeg image size is a different proprtion when I made the quicky gif on Giphy.com
I would do one or two gifs as editions if there was a cheap good way of displaying them on a wall.

In which way?
It depends how one defines value and how one defines success.
To me a succesful artist is someone who makes art. How much art sells for does not define a successful artist. That defines a successful business person.
Value as in financial doesn't bother me. I would rather people buy my art because they appreciate it and because it is not expensive meaning they can collect it rather than buy art with borrowed money because they have jumped on a reselling band wagon.
When Van Gogh was painting, a buyer went into a gallery and mentioned to the dealer they were thinking of buying a Van Gogh to which the dealer told them not to waste their money and persuaded them to buy art by another artist for a high price as an investment. The other artist is unknown today and van Gogh well known.
How many expensive prints bought today by professional wallers sold thru galleries will be worth a fraction and how many will be worth a lot more is not my game. Thats an investment game perpetuated by dealers.

I doubt it, considering you haven't bought one.
Plus i'm putting them for sale no more than ten at a time. So not much point trying to flip one.
