Has anyone else been getting messages lately asking if you have something still available you sold 2 years ago. Are those threads being bumped up somewhere so people think they are recent?
I thought it would be pretty obvious that a post made 2 years ago would be sold by now.
No disrespect, i appreciate messages

Messages about work sold ages ago, by bagpuss on Jan 23, 2017 12:44:31 GMT 1, I did it myself recently; carried out a search of the artists name and saw a piece for 'sale' but not sold, I messaged the original seller and only realised that it was a couple of years old when he replied back to me. I always thought it was odd when people bump very old for sale threads but it is easily done as I proved myself.

Messages about work sold ages ago, by Schrรถdinger's Chat on Jan 23, 2017 13:17:48 GMT 1, It's happened to me recently but has been for stuff I was selling around 6 months or so ago, quite handy actually as I had forgotten it still existed and have managed to sell a few pieces.
So I guess it's always worth sending a message.

Messages about work sold ages ago, by soupy on Jan 23, 2017 16:00:35 GMT 1, it means you didn't mark it as SOLD. just because it is 2 years old... does not mean it sold. it could have garnered zero interest at the time and just gone stale.
i send messages on stuff if it is not clear whether the piece sold or not. if you search the forum or you search google sometimes "for sale" listings come up. no harm in asking. i recommend editing the original post if it does sell so there's no confusion.

Messages about work sold ages ago, by Happy Shopper on Jan 23, 2017 19:59:42 GMT 1, Another "issue" around sales threads, and forgive me as I know it's petty, but why do people reply to a sales thread asking to be PMd!? Just PM the seller! AND, if you're going to reply on the thread, then TAG the seller! Otherwise they've no idea. (If you want their attention that is)

.... i typically will edit the title and original post as "SOLD" so there is no confusion.
