Oswaldo Vigas, by agu on Jan 23, 2017 18:50:50 GMT 1, An odd one this. Clearing out my father's attic we found this print. He pretty high up in the United Nations and it was given to him as a gift many moons ago. He retired about 20 years ago so it was well before that. The artist has since become pretty famous and died in 2014. A few searches revealed his paintings go for in excess of $100k. But I can get no info on print multiples or any Gallery that might be able to help me sell it.
Open to offers and advice.
Condition of the print is fair. It is numbered and signed by the artist. It has been in its folio since it was given to my father over 20 years ago. The colours are vibrant as it has never seen light. There is a ding on the corner, but the paper is raw with rough edges so it does not show. There are some dots on the bottom of the paper but I cannot tell if these are original or not. There is nothing t indicate damp on the surrounding tissue or storage.

Oswaldo Vigas, by agu on Jan 24, 2017 0:25:20 GMT 1, Forbes had this to say. It appears he directly inspired Picasso.

Sorry to see the pic not always load on a tablet. Also it does not show up in the art for sale listing thumb nail. Pointers welcome, I am a net buyer and have not sold enough to know the detail. Thank you to Ploppi for the additional info..showing love for the rather cool handle.
I might sell at a profit but 20+ years post release am I still a flipper?

Oswaldo Vigas, by Deleted on Jan 24, 2017 12:16:56 GMT 1, If you have a photo of your print online you can post the link in the thread or link to the image by using the photo icon.
Vigas certainly does fill the gaps between Picasso, Braque,Miro and Lam artistically.
