Great cause, works like the art on a postcard with a lottery to acquire great images. Thoroughly delighted to have one of my images included in the show, a real honour.

The Hepatitis C Trustโs fundraising arm, Art on a Postcard will transform into Photography on a Postcard for the month of October. We plan to replicate the success weโve had in the art world with photography and held an open call for upcoming talent to show alongside Wolfgang Tillmans, Martin Parr, Dougie Wallace, Edmund Clark, Tom Hunter, Simon Norfolk, Chris Steele Perkins, Jenny Lewis, Homer Sykes, Eleanor Macnair, David Hoffman and many many more well known and loved photographers.
The public will be able to purchase a ticket guaranteeing them a photograph, although they wonโt know which card they have won until the show closes on 26 October. Each photograph will be an edition of one and will come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
All the money raised will go to The Hepatitis C Trustโs campaign to eliminate hepatitis C from the UK by the year 2030.

For anyone going, I would love to see a photo of my piece hung up with all of the others. Sadly, I'm in Canada and I can't make the trip myself.

I will hopefully be going on the 12th for the preview, happy to take some images of the rooms and your photo. I expect you were as delighted as me to be exhibited amongst some great photographers. I knew it was going to be a digital signature as I had a piece in the show. It would have been nice, but it would have been madness trying to coordinate that.

I must confess I forgot all about this Chuffed to have got the Martin Parr, plus ones by Gabriela Silveira, Cyndi Goretski, Miss Underground & Julia Gelezova! Not entered this on previous years, but from the description on the website I assumed them all to be hand-signed. The Miss Underground sig is just a poorly cropped photograph inserted on the signature line?! Once again glad the funds have gone to a good cause, but felt a bit let down after the long wait for these to arrive! Maybe it's just me? |
