I would imagine this is an artist known to the Upfest crew as they know the majority of locals, however I would be surprised if it was upfest "hype". The artist will probably have some work installed for Upfest tho, and why not? Its pretty good and I can only see the addition of an artist working in a totally different medium as a good thing for it as an event.
