New James Bullough release Moving Target & Drift, by kember on May 1, 2018 6:14:48 GMT 1, still annoyed at myself for not jumping on Breaking Point, Drift is his best since then I think - wasn't a fan of the PangeaSeed one.

New James Bullough release Moving Target & Drift, by loother on May 1, 2018 10:35:36 GMT 1, There are things about his work that I like, and things I like less. Fundamentally, viewed online - I've never seen an original - I find his draughtsmanship precise but uninspiring, and his subjects repetitive and also uninspiring. He has a novel and arresting method, but in my opinion he needs to paint more pictures that aren't of beautiful women with their arms in the air.

But his podcast makes me warm to him a lot more, and I'm surprised it doesn't get discussed here a bit more. Not because he's a particularly brilliant broadcaster - they're just conversations - but because he is someone with a wide interest in the scene he's in - the scene everyone who frequents this forum is also interested in - and a desire to communicate. He uses the access he has to other notable artists to educate and entertain others who share his interest but not his access, and I appreciate both the results and the effort. I don't know how many people here have listened to it, but if there's one with an artist you vaguely like it's worth checking out. The website is here and it's on Soundcloud here.

I concur a lot. Vantage Point radio is bloody brilliant. Pretty much 100 episodes with almost anyone and everyone connected in this โsceneโ
