Investment Art, by Deleted on May 15, 2018 5:42:38 GMT 1, So as a long time collector and dealer I’m always searching for the latest and greatest. It would be great to see people opinion on what artist to invest into for financial gain. Banksy, Retna, Mr Brainwash, Invader and Stik have all seen the prices going through the roof. WHOS NEXT!!!
Harland Miller perhaps ?

Investment Art, by mose on May 15, 2018 11:19:18 GMT 1, Silly question in a way, because you never know (and you know that, lol). Even if someone appears to be 'next' and have a run-up, how will their market be in 5, 10, 20 years? There have been a LOT of artists that went for a LOT of money at one time, only to eventually lose favor and turn up at small auction houses for 1/50th of primary.
That being said, the 'rediscovering old geniuses' movement is still afoot in the greater art world, what with Mary Corse, Larry Bell, Sam Gilliam, to name just a few, all getting serious attention and price hikes. If this translate to the urban art genre, then going back is the way forward.

But through the roof price changes. If Pejac keeps putting out provocative pieces and shows the damn Hollywood elite will find him and F it all up soon..... though he may not be enough Mr. B. for those morons.

Investment Art, by artmonster on May 15, 2018 22:07:16 GMT 1, How interesting fact: If you type a reply to someone’s message (like mine for example above) and then change your mind and delete your post, the poster it was replied to STILL gets an email message with the reply (although publicly it is deleted). Not that anyone would do that... To tell me I am rude for example
Ha, I was in stitches!

Investment Art, by ca on May 15, 2018 22:07:47 GMT 1, Why are people so rude on this blog? excuse us but you coming here, advertising yourself as an art dealer and your first post asking the community to shove your way some ideas to make a profit doesn't necessary resonate well with the majority here, myself included.
Perhaps that was not your intention but hey, we've seen our fair share of randos coming here and try to squeeze a dollar out of this community without providing much in return. Voila

A 'long time collector and dealer'is the sort of person I'd be looking to ask for advice rather than giving it, so what artists do you think are worth investing in?

I'm sure more than a few here would like to hear your views... a link to your site along with commission fees etc , would also be of interest to a few - mind you a mod might like to change your status also - to a non commoner.

Investment Art, by Deleted on May 16, 2018 7:20:17 GMT 1, There's an artist who has started to make waves in the art scene, goes by the name of araplatoon I believe. Anyway he (Or she) is taking preorder commissions for a very limited time before their first solo show at (insert gallery name) You just need to make an initial non-refundable deposit of £100,000 to get on to the waiting list, then if you are one of the lucky ones I think the final payment is another £100,000. If that is outside of your budget I have heard a rumour of a one colour exclusive print drop, details are sketchy but there will be more tiers than a royal wedding cake so be as quick as you can.
Happy to put you in contact if you're interested but please keep this to yourself

Investment Art, by Express Post on May 16, 2018 8:17:55 GMT 1, I see you have been contacted by members of the UAA Gestapo...
Wowowowowoow, Didn’t mean to offend anyone, sorry if I did, I just want to learn, haven’t got much knowledge with Urban art but I love it. Iv just had a few really hateful PMs because I said I was a dealer. Arnt we all dealers in a way?? Anyhow it’s great to see people’s opinions about the market, I think it’s exciting to be in. Let me know if anyone has Harlands or RETNAs for sale. Cheers

You can PM me anytime if you have doubts about a specific purchase and I'll answer to the best of my abilities . I can handle the gestapo, so let them direct their hate on me instead.
