Letter published by Banksy in Cut it out book (2004), by Schrรถdinger's Chat on Jun 9, 2018 19:31:44 GMT 1, I quite often find myself thinking about the letter that Banksy published in the Cut it Out book in 2004.
Knowing what we know now, I think that the person who wrote the letter may have had a point. I've always assumed that Banksy included the letter more in ridicule of the author, or the idea they are putting forward.
It is coupled with broken window theory on the same page, which is a theory that completely goes against the hypothesis in the letter i.e. That if you leave graffiti on the walls the area will be brought down, not encourage yuppies to move in.
Anyway, interested to hear others thoughts on this.ย

Letter published by Banksy in Cut it out book (2004), by jay4077 on Jun 9, 2018 20:50:33 GMT 1, To me it shows the difference between simple graffiti/tags ("broken window theory") and street art (letter).

One day I received a mail from Mr B. My friend - about my kids painting walks with me . But everyone told me that it was not him. Anyway some things happened the day after that I told that to some friends ๐ฅ Banksy is human.
