And yet it was you and moron that derailed this thread, and turned what could have been a collective view of sympathy and agreement into a dispute. It’s disingenuous to criticise someone’s disdain for one injustice on the basis that they also criticise something you feel doesn’t warrant criticism.

It is a moronic concept. Liberals should have had a linguist evaluate their platform before they started to enforce it. Togetherness, acceptance, yes. Tolerance? F**k NO.

Letter from Zehra Dogan - Banksy Instagram post, by Poster Bob on Jul 17, 2018 23:56:23 GMT 1, There is no system of checks and balances when you run the executive branch, when you dominate both houses of the legislative branch and when you will install all of the filth possible in the judicial branch to have a majority. Good try though bro, get better with them thinkin' words. If you use 'bro' while trying to have a discussion, I'm gonna conclude that it's not a discussion worth having. A classy way to admit you've already lost and that any attempt at arguing with me would be feeble.

Tolerance does not mean you're giving permission to others to impose or step on you, but it means a capacity to empathy and being the better man by being willing to understand and accept differences. You have so, so much to learn, and you will never learn anything until you realise that you do. I actually feel sorry for you.

Letter from Zehra Dogan - Banksy Instagram post, by Poster Bob on Jul 18, 2018 0:04:23 GMT 1, If you cannot see through Hillary Clinton there is no point explaining. I want to keep on subject in this thread and the media and the EU seems to avoid Erdogans antics because the media and EU have an agenda. Appeasement of Erdogan basically. As opposed to sanctions etc. The western feminists seem to support opressive middles eastern cultures for some reason? Their agenda seems pretty obvious. Erdogan is holding Europe hostage over the refugee-crisis (he could easily not keep his part of the deal and let millions enter Europe through Turkey) and if the refugee-crisis gets even worse, the people in power are not going to be the people in power much longer, as people are more and more fed up with young male fortune seekers of fighting age flooding the continent. It's a big Merkel created clusterfuck. She tried to please her left leaning voters by having open borders which then massively backfired. No. Germany has an insufficient number of unskilled workers and an extreme sense of guilt for the atrocities they committed in WWII. Erdogan has power due to the strategic placement of Turkey as a bridge between Europe and the Middle East for strategic military strikes and the knowledge that the EU wants to keep him outside of Russia's sphere of influence than anything else. The "refugee" crisis is at its heart due to war, failed states and corrupt governments. It will not stop until the forward-thinking world exerts the necessary pressures to force reform, positive development and an end to war in impoverished and corrupt nations.

It's a big Merkel created clusterfuck. She tried to please her left leaning voters by having open borders which then massively backfired. I think there is more than one agenda regarding appeasing Erdogan.
One is the pipeline from Turkey to europe. Also some say thats the reason the EU supports the overthrow of Assad in Syria.
www.news.com.au/world/middle-east/is-the-fight-over-a-gas-pipeline-fuelling-the-worlds-bloodiest-conflict/news-story/74efcba9554c10bd35e280b63a9afb74
Merkel seems to be calling the shots in the EU regarding appeasing Turkey and the planned pipeline.
Erdogan is in control of Turks living in Germany who are allowed to have dual citizenship even if they were born in Germany. If Erdogan tells them to vote for Merkel they will vote for Merkel etc. Basically the same situation has arrived in the UK in some parts with block voting.
There are also people involved, probably big corps etc etc who have politicians in their pockets who say they want mass migration into europe in order to end up with a cheaper workforce despite the fact that the majority of migrants to Germany Sweden etc prefer to live on benefits.
There are nutters like Barbara Lerner Spectre etc who seem to be highly placed in european politics despite being an American and who have an anti europeans racist agenda and also an anti black people agenda. One motivation of people like Spectre etc is to turn people agaisnt each other and punish the poor.
People like Soros funding and NGO's with their boats and other so called non profits who are supporting mass illegal immigration simply because they are making a lot of money out of it.
It's not hard to pick up migrants in the dangerous boats in Turkish and Libyan waters and take them back to Turkish and Libyan ports.
I agree about the large percentage of young men posing as refugees, and now accepted as migrants instead of illegal immigrants which they are that have entered europe with no vetting and with no intention of integrating or working for a living. Grown men lying saying they are children are supported in their lies by leftists who know these people are adults.
The problems that Sweden Germany etc is having with violent crimes by men who were allowed in with no vetting. All covered up by politicians and the media and police under orders from politicians.
The difference today between the leftists democrats and the conservatives is that the left covers up the truth and the right uncovers the truth.
I would rather have twenty thousand people from Africa migrate to europe who want to integrate and be part of western society and culture and who have been vetted than one thousand fake refugees who are allowed in with no vetting and no sign that they will contribute in any way apart from their own interests.
So Europe appeases Erdogan who speaks about the glory of the Ottoman Empire who purges and jails his opposition and critics. Jails a woman for some truthful factual art and is betraying european values to these dictators.

Letter from Zehra Dogan - Banksy Instagram post, by moron on Jul 18, 2018 0:17:30 GMT 1, You support Trump and his hatred of cultural differences? We the people was about tolerance, not supporting the hijab. Were you born racist? Have you been to school? Do you have a brain? At least you got your nickname right, so you must have moments of clarity. Why on earth would I support cultural values that class me as an animal or second class and to be lied to and taxed because of who I am. A european who believes in equality and democracy.
Sorry but the rally with Linda Sarsour etc was about promoting sharia and basically using muslims purely as a pawn in a point scoring game against Trump. The sooner that people wake up and realise that the democrats who are white mainly are conning ethnic minorities and manipulating them not to integrate the better. The worst thing for the democrats would be if everyone had the same values and got along with each other.
Where someone comes from makes no difference, the difference is about integrating and adopting western values and contributing. Not refusing to integrate and create ghettos which means future generates are prevented from integrating and sharing in democracy and having a better life.
Multi culturalism is impossible in a democracy simply because cultures evolved from cults and all democracies have to be secular and not pander to or ignore people because of where they came from. So who is the racist. The person who integrates or the person who refuses to integrate?
It's not hard.

Letter from Zehra Dogan - Banksy Instagram post, by moron on Jul 18, 2018 0:23:53 GMT 1, Yesss here we go again. Lefty buzzwords. Grab the pitchforks! And yet it was you and moron that derailed this thread, and turned what could have been a collective view of sympathy and agreement into a dispute. It’s disingenuous to criticise someone’s disdain for one injustice on the basis that they also criticise something you feel doesn’t warrant criticism. If you read my posts comrade you see I refer back to Erdogan.
The thread was derailed by the poster who directly posted to me about Trump and to which I replied.
I'll make it simple for you.
No matter how bad Trump is imaginary painted, he could never be compared to the likes of Erdogan.

No matter how bad Trump is imaginary painted, he could never be compared to the likes of Erdogan.

Letter from Zehra Dogan - Banksy Instagram post, by moron on Jul 18, 2018 0:30:22 GMT 1, Their agenda seems pretty obvious. It will not stop until the forward-thinking world exerts the necessary pressures to force reform, positive development and an end to war in impoverished and corrupt nations. but it's not a refugee crisis and the people in Calais jungle and Paris are not refugees. They are illegal immigrants.
When I was a lad, I met many people who had gone to university and decided to work in unskilled jobs because they were pragmatic and decided to support themselves as they could not find a job quickly in their field of studying etc.
I don't fall for the German WW2 guilt trip. Thats a con used by Merkel etc. there is another agenda behind it.

I really don’t want to continue with this dialogue, save to say, no, comments were limited to sympathy for the author of the letter, until your first post, referencing Trump. I’m out of this now. You and blansky can congratulate each other on your similar opinions.

Where are all the feminists and protestors against Erdogan and also politicians who slag off Trump who stay quiet against the likes of Erdogan and mysoginst values and cultures?
There is a big difference to having sympathy and posting ones sympathy on a forum.
The more that politicians in Europe pander to Erdogan and Iran etc the more innocent people will be jailed and killed.

Letter from Zehra Dogan - Banksy Instagram post, by moron on Jul 18, 2018 1:18:59 GMT 1, I doubt Sadiq Khan, mayor of London would be slagging off Erdogan if Erdogan visits London. In fact Erdogan visited London allready.
"Turkey's President Erdogan is not a nice man. We should resist him rather than pander to him"
www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/05/07/turkeys-president-erdogan-is-not-a-nice-man-we-should-resist-him/
"Groups including the Kurdistan Solidarity Campaign and Kurdistan Students Union have already begun organising a demonstration against the visit, with about 600 people registered as “interested” or “attending” on Facebook on Thursday morning.
In contrast, around a day after U.S. President Donald J. Trump announced his trip to the UK, around 100,000 people had said they could attend a demonstration in London and the London Mayor Sadiq Khan had spoken out.
Mr. Khan has so far remained silent on Erdoğan’s visiting his city."

Letter from Zehra Dogan - Banksy Instagram post, by detail on Jul 18, 2018 4:47:42 GMT 1, You support Trump and his hatred of cultural differences? Your comments on this thread - particularly your comments about Islamic culture, refugees/immigrants and integration - show that you don't believe in equality - you don't even seem to understand what it means.
Multiculturalism is possible in a democracy, pandering or ignoring are not the only options, acceptance and treating others as equals no matter where they come from or what religion they follow is another option which makes it possible.
Neither integrating, or not integrating, necessarily mean that someone is racist. However telling refugees/immigrants that to integrate they need to adopt 'western values' and 'culture' in a way that would suggest 'western culture' and 'values' are superior does make someone racist.

Letter from Zehra Dogan - Banksy Instagram post, by butterknife on Jul 18, 2018 4:56:52 GMT 1, I feel badly for dear Zehra. Banksy bringing awareness to her plight is both a blessing and a curse. I worry about her ability to exit Turkiye freely in the future. Hopefully I am not right.

Letter from Zehra Dogan - Banksy Instagram post, by Carl Cashman on Jul 18, 2018 7:10:40 GMT 1, My thoughts are that it is impossible not to be moved by reading that letter. Any concern on retaliation for her sending it? Seems like posting could cause problems. I'd think she has more problems being stuck there and forgotten about.

Letter from Zehra Dogan - Banksy Instagram post, by Dive Jedi on Jul 18, 2018 7:30:38 GMT 1, http://instagr.am/p/BlVwbgBhkvG The imprisonment and treatment of Zehra Doğan shows the true face of fascism and racism. The more publicity for people imprisoned by fascist middle eastern regimes the better. People are all too quick to create publicity stunts against Trump and organise mass demos against him. Yet they avoid demonstrating against the likes of Erdogan who has interfered in the elections in Germany and europe and who breaches human rights. This times 1000. To me it's so utterly ridiculous that people are protesting the likes of Trump and other conservatives, that function in a system of checks and balance while they should have massive demonstrations every day about what goes on in dictatorships like Turkey. So when was the last time you went to demonstrate against Turkey, Syria, North Korea or any other dictatorship?
