Dismaland- was it really 3 years ago, by churchwood on Aug 20, 2018 16:01:31 GMT 1, The recent James Joyce prints got me thinking back to Dismaland - cannot believe it was 3 years ago.
For me, one of the highlights was the art by some of the other artists on show in the large indoor hall who I hadn't come across directly before.
Some, such as Pomet and Gillette seem to have increased their profiles on the strength of the show but others haven't - just wondered what other people thoughts are and why this is.
some of the work was ace and I am surprised isn't discussed here more.

Dismaland- was it really 3 years ago, by AoT Framing on Aug 20, 2018 16:16:26 GMT 1, Nettie Wakefield was one of the artists there and since Dismaland she's had a show in Los Angeles in June at the Jason Vass gallery where she made some blow up dolls she'd drawn made into full size bronzes. Thinking about doing a limited edition print with hand-finishing of the doll if anyone's interested?
