What Has Become Of This Forum?, by kjg on Oct 28, 2018 21:41:14 GMT 1, I'd agree what you say in terms of lroy he comes across as having a addictive personality disorder. But if that's the case then isn't collecting art rather than spending it on drink, drugs or gambling far better. I got 2 large plan chests with at least 200 works in. I'm guilty of this.
Bartosz, in December last year you promised to send me a few items but I didnโt get anything yet. I tried to contact you via PM but to no avail. Are you still here?

What Has Become Of This Forum?, by Hairbland on Oct 28, 2018 22:24:40 GMT 1, New news used to be in the main section, a bit like the front page of a newspaper. It was then decided to file everything away immediately under the artist section (or wherever). Really interesting new releases and shows would be filed away which I would then find weeks later if at all. As no one knew they were there no one would discuss them. For me the forum took a backward step when the immediate filing away of stories took place. I agree that this has not been a good thing, who in their right mind would mix latest news with the classified section. Nobody does this. I think the trolling flippers created a bad tone, and many long time members disappeared, either hiding or going elsewhere. Now it seems like the gift shop.
That said, the thread UAA Drops harkens back to the spirit, and is fun despite some nibbling troll activity.
I collect a few artists that would show up in news, but now are buried. However, following them on Instagram is much more fun, and the first place to find out new artists.
