Advice for selling Kaws figures, by Greekboy on Jan 24, 2019 15:37:08 GMT 1, I’ve been out of the scene for well over the last year and would like some advice. I have a set of three dissected Resting Companions and a color Astro Boy figure that I would like to sell. They have all been displayed since purchase on KAWSONE.COM and I still have the boxes and packaging. I also have a Pinocchio purchased from Toy Tokyo from the initial release that I am consider selling. What would be the easiest way to sell these in today’s market. I would prefer to sell the Companions as one lot. Also, I have checked recent eBay sales for valuation but would love to hear what people think these are worth.

Private Sale maybe these , but could be wrong in his ever so inflated market
RP - 1500-1750 each
pinnochio and color Astro - 2250-2500 each

You can get $2k+ for resting places these days and probably more if and when he drops an open edition smaller size version like he did with PT.
I'm going to respond to your post if you list the Pinnochio on any group so send me a PM beforehand if you'd like an easy sale

I am considering going the auction house route to avoid any future headaches with payment and authenticity issues that can come with dealing online with PayPal. If anyone is between the Detroit to Toronto area I would love to make a deal locally so the buyer can see things before purchase.

I knew his days were #’d. Gut feeling...that’s what happens when you sell out your own fanbase with toys. Today’s charity release was him panicking because he see’s it too...some middleman prob suggested it to him.

I cannot seem to figure out how to post a link to view all of my photos. My name is petersenteris on Imgur if you can search by user.
The Pinocchio and the Astro Boy seem to be in perfect condition, but while taking photos, all three Resting Place Companions have discoloration on the hands. This is not the color of the shelf they were resting on so I’m not sure where the coloring is from. I tried to use a moist cloth but it had no effect. They are now all packed back in their original boxes. The Resting Place Companions all have the original shipping box from KAWS. I also still have the email receipts from those orders. The Astro Boy was purchased through ToyQube with email recipes and the Pinocchio from Toy Tokyo but no documentation.
