No, not my way of conducting business.
The print has some damage, and therefore it will be cheaper than a 'mint' one. If someone likes the print and is on a budget then this is your chance to pick up this iconic image.

Sold, by Inknart on Feb 15, 2019 0:48:48 GMT 1, A lot of these have the same condition issues. The board is just extremely fragile and the slightest bump will smudge the corners like that. It is hard to find any of these with perfect corners.

Why would it make it difficult for a private sale? The OP's been upfront and honest about any damage (which appears fairly minimal for this particular print) and understands he can't attain 'mint' prices. Sure I appreciate some collectors will only seek out perfect examples of work but for a lot of collectors who collect for the art and not the value of the asset then there's no reason they wouldn't be interested in this. If I hadn't recently picked up a B&W version then I'd certainly be interested.
Then to suggest the OP could purposefully deceive a potential buyer via an auction instead is actually a tad offensive.
Certainly a contender for most useless comment of the year.

Ironically my comment led to quite a discussion which helped the seller. Yours on the other really brings nothing...
