People were likely dropping that cash without even having seen the images.

KAWS ART BASEL 2018, by Deleted on Apr 14, 2019 18:04:51 GMT 1, So here’s the deal. I’d be willing to sell two prints for retail to the forum. Buyers choice. Would be retail plus shipping/fees. First two prints. If anyone is interested. Retail was about 23k a print each.

If that was the case and they double in value— I would still raffle it off. That would only be fair and the benefit should pass on to the prospective buyer.
I’ve done various deals with forum members that have been advantageous to the buyer.
But! I would do a raffle but 1000 tickets would be too difficult. And i could only imagine the hardship that would come with equitable outcomes.
30 tickets x 1000$ each would be more practical.
