Jonas Wood • Speaker Still Life Print, by Express Post on May 14, 2019 6:29:13 GMT 1, Campfires account was dead quiet when wimpyboy was going through menopause. It then picked up after the wimp's was sent packin'. Account has the characteristics of a windup. Like they keep telling people how many Jonas Woods prints you have even through nobody asked. And then asking them a serious question to challenge if the print is better than the matisse paint pots, which are the most sought after prints by collectors at the moment, they can't answer it. I'll let members figure out what to make of the situation. The boy will never leave here, and they also lied about not having alt accounts too. Welcome to the internet.

Jonas Wood • Speaker Still Life Print, by Express Post on May 14, 2019 11:42:14 GMT 1, Offered to you at above retail no doubt. Without going into too much detail, more still lifes offered by dealers/reseller than matisse paint pots.
Based on the quotes, the average offer $ per sq cm of the MPP is more than SSL.
Only 50 MPPs compared to 80 ssl, not including the APs and PPs, so they are rarer.
All his prints are available right now, but do you want to be spending that kind of money to secure them?

Jonas Wood • Speaker Still Life Print, by campfire headphase on May 14, 2019 21:56:01 GMT 1, Yes. Don’t get me wrong, I like the triptych. Just side by side... the speaker wins. Red is a heavy color to my eyes. Maybe it’s because the speaker is so new that’s i like it so.

Not all. Some of his prints I don’t care for. But I’ve got most of them. Matisse is good if you can get a set. But go for a set, not a single.

Jonas Wood • Speaker Still Life Print, by campfire headphase on Sept 23, 2019 3:09:38 GMT 1, Any fans of Jonas who missed out on the original release might have a chance to get the Speaker Still Life printer proof at auction. The PP’s tend to go for a little less so this is a good opp for anyone interested. Artnet auctions doesn’t have the big clients that’s Sothebys etc does so this May fly under the radar of more than a few people.

Jonas Wood • Speaker Still Life Print, by campfire headphase on Sept 23, 2019 3:12:12 GMT 1, Coming up in 10 days. PP can be had for a little less and Artnet doesn’t dominate the auction space like the big houses. You might be able to snag it at a good price.

Release price was @18k and sold out immediately or thereabouts. Defo would not be less than release price. Some people are throwing around stupid numbers for these. Will easily hit low estimate I think.

Hi Cest,
I think some deals can be had here. I say that because I don’t think artnet charges seller’s commission so you have some motivated sellers there regarding estimate agreeableness.
As always, cover your ass and ask for a condition report. I have been to the publisher once in the past. They run a very legit business and have been around since 1970. The people who work there are super professional. If it belonged to one of the printers, they certainly wouldn’t fuck around with how they handle the print. Probably still in it’s OG packaging. Go for it. I have one and I love mine.

Jonas Wood • Speaker Still Life Print, by Express Post on Sept 23, 2019 13:58:50 GMT 1, If you wanted to give a heads up, you already achieved that without having to say you owned one. So what happened to your second JW Speaker print?

Jonas Wood • Speaker Still Life Print, by Express Post on Sept 23, 2019 14:18:06 GMT 1, But you happily mentioned about owning and loving one and then say you are not here to talk about that. Right.
You lied about being a collector and actually flipped your second one. Not a question, a statement this time.

Jonas Wood • Speaker Still Life Print, by Express Post on Sept 23, 2019 14:22:50 GMT 1, Campfire said he acquired two now says they have one in a matter of months. My money is that there was a flip. Nothing against that, but just own your actions instead of trying to hide. Or they lied about ever owning two, in which case...BUSTED!

All the more reason that I posted the thread. It is difficult. Here is low hanging fruit - an auction. Equal opportunity for people who missed the release and can’t find one elsewhere. Be happy people. Here is your chance.

I’m not here to discuss that. I posted the thread to notify members of an auction. Stop deviating. It’s irrelevant to the topic. Stop baiting me openly to talk about my collection beyond what I decide and how I decide to discuss it. That is my domain and personal information to share where:how/and when with. That’s not for you to decide.
Save the energy and put in a f**kingbid if you want the image.

Jonas Wood • Speaker Still Life Print, by Express Post on Sept 23, 2019 14:57:12 GMT 1, You usually raise your collection when nobody asked. Now you are being asked and now you don't want to talk about it.
Anyway where I was going with this was you say you are collector, fair. Then you said you acquired a second speaker. Again fair, but nobody ever asked you.
Now you say you only have one speaker print, and when queried about the second one, you get defensive and begin obfuscating. Very much cagey.
This is a public forum, everyone is fair game.

Again - this post.... this* thread topic is about an auction. Not a topic of sale or speculation about anything I have. This is about a sale of property belonging to the printer who worked on the print. This thread is about their* object. Their print has nothing to do with my collection, yet you are fixated on on derailing the thread away from them* selling their* print and trying to engage me about the contents of my collection and to divulge what I have and what I have sold.. They are not related. I mentioned that I have one in the context that they are great images from personal ownership experience. Some people will bid on this that have never seen one in person. I see this image every single day. It’s good and I can vouch for it. That’s it. That’s all.
I have volunteered information as many many people have about their collection on this forum before (and will after). The key in that scenario is that when they do it, to what level, is something they decide without need of your blessing, policing or permission.. I have decided elsewhere to share aspects of my collection in the same way. I am not obfuscating. What I am doing is not allowing you to take the choice to share/not share my personal collection details away from me. That is solely up to me and isn’t dictated by you. I’d appreciate your stop trying to control that decision.
You usually raise your collection when nobody asked. No it is not settled. If I choose to discuss my Jonas collection on the forum, I will make that determination on my end and do so. If you don’t want to hear about it, stop detailing unrelated threads and asking me about them to try and provoke me. This thread is about an upcoming auction. Stay on point. Jonas Wood • Speaker Still Life Print, by coller on Sept 23, 2019 15:34:46 GMT 1, don't PPs and APs both usually go for more than the regular edition?
