Recently came across an older issue of Art in America and realized it might be fun to go back in time. I’ve decided to start a little collection of the periodical and plan on sharing the experience on an Instagram account.
Pretty simple concept. Pick an issue, read, take some photos, share something interesting. May be an image, quote, interpretation, analysis, you name it. Idea is to keep it flexible. Plan is to highlight an issue a week but we will see. There is a wealth of art spanning over a century in this periodical.
I know many aren’t a fan of some of my posts here. But like I’ve stated before I’m here because I Love art. Most of what I post should probably be taken with a grain of salt. I mean this is the internet right 😁. Anyway since I Love art and conversation I’m excited for this little project. Even if my followers stay at zero.
So if anyone is interested for the journey I’ll likely update this post every once in a while but I will share mostly on Instagram and you can head over to Instagram: artinamericareview
