Hello, please give me your opinions about the artworks of Galerie Coste / Miamian Auctions they are the same people, I have serious doubts about the artworks that they sell (the owner is the same person):

Opinion about Galerie Coste - Miamian Auctions, by steve9999 on Sept 29, 2019 22:29:37 GMT 1, I'm no "expert," but I do see several things that make me VERY hesitant:
1) The "Koons" listing "implies" that the work was created by Jeff Koons and that's simply NOT true. These "metallic rabbits" may have been "inspired" by Koons' famous rabbit, but Editions Studio HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH JEFF KOONS. If that were the case, they would be signed and numbered by Koons as he has done with the official "balloon animals," the Venus or the "Puppy Vase." Koons has nothing to do with this except the company is ripping off his imagery and this alleged auction house makes absolutely no distinction between the two and in fact, are trying to infer that Koons had something to do with it by listing his name as "the creator" and that's just wrong.
2) The Haring drawing has an incredibly "wonky" signature and the fact that they're writing "This drawing will be sold with a certificate of authenticity WITHOUT stating where the certificate is from is highly suspicious. CERTIFICATES OF AUTHENTICITY MEAN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING unless they come from directly from the artist or the official representative of the artist or the Estate of the Artist..otherwise, they're just random pieces of paper that "look official," but have absolutely NO MERIT AT ALL....do not be fooled by this!!!!!
3) If I am not mistaken, aren't the only credible "authenticity" parties for a Banksy either Pest Control or Steve Lazarides? If the work is not accompanied by paperwork from either of those parties, then one should be VERY cautious and all of the bullshit text about the names of people who found it, removed it or discussed it with the media at that time is absolute unadulterated distraction bullshit.
There's not a single thing here that makes me think ANY OF THESE ITEMS ARE LEGITIMATE.....just sayin.'

Opinion about Galerie Coste - Miamian Auctions, by russkov on Sept 30, 2019 9:50:49 GMT 1, I bought in the past a piece from Fairey, that went all fine, but further if you follow the chronology, the auction in Australia, further the one in Drouot recently, the same pieces a re listed/relisted. When enquiring about the COAs and stuff, I have been answered only about the reserve price that was not reached, hence the pieces being relisted (Banksy ands Invader) - and it appears are false according to the auction results -, eluding the other questions. Stay away...
