Standard application confirmed email pinged back immediately each time. D.E.A.D

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by klyde on Oct 17, 2019 15:44:57 GMT 1, I'm not so sure. Seems like a pretty stupid way to sell things that are unlimited. Will find out soon enough. Not so sure? I think you should re-read the terms and conditions section... Just picking the two prints disqualified you. Best of luck though!
Look its fine.
It aint happening anyway.
The answers I gave were before I realised it was being judged by a stand up comic.
Clearly only decent and funny ones will be picked, and that wont be mine.
Same for anyone else that just bashed in an answer without giving it some proper thought.
Or anyone that took it too seriously with an art grad pompous load of guff.

Per the T+C, answers will be used in a tie-breaker.
If anything, that section was there to combat against bots.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Riotcops on Oct 17, 2019 15:52:47 GMT 1, Has anyone thought that maybe we're all disqualified? As it said not to apply if you're a wealthy art collector - priced "far below market value” for “lower income patrons”.
My first thought was to hold off a couple days, since they have the addresses they can see houses. Everyones not "wealthy" but also likely not "lower income" households either.
I dunno. I applied anyways haha.

Where do you see on the page that "unlimited items are not included in the one per person and per household" limitation? I think some of you are taking this a little too seriously.
The chances of any of you scoring anything limited are basically f*ck all.
If I miss out on some UNLIMITED cushions because I didnt pour over the terms and conditions then I think I'll cope.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Deleted on Oct 17, 2019 15:55:52 GMT 1, The biggest story about the whole GDP thing isn’t the new works, isn’t the charity money (both which is great), its banksy will come after you for copyright infringement (or so it seems) and bravo to the marketing cause that is heavily masked in this whole thing. Oh stop. Honestly. For well over a decade Banksy has been about as loose with his copyright as any artist I have ever seen. The only time his team has ever come down on anyone is when parties have abused his rights in a way that it seems like those infringing are acting as representatives of the artist or represent official works. It's my understanding that Full Colour Black has been fully commercializing his work against his will. And it's not just limited to greeting cards. They issued, in conjunction with Medicom, a run of Flower Thrower & Monkey figures. The license was granted to Medicom by Full Colour Black when they don't have any rights to the image. It's no different than a brand agency reaching out to a musician who distributes some of their work for free and then deciding to use their work to sell soda anyway even though they have not got authorization for it. On top of all of that those assholes go to court to try and push through application for a declaration of invalidity against a Banksy EU trademark. As usual, this is why we can't have nice things. Complete c**ts take his work and monetize it in a way that doesn't benefit the artist at all. If B wanted to make vinyl figures in conjunction with Medicom he would. If he wanted to make greeting cards he would. Him encouraging people to enjoy his work and replicate it all they want for personal use doesn't mean stealing it to make money off it whether it's stealing a street piece or manufacturing unauthorized copies as greeting cards or vinyl figures. Because FCB was so egregious in the way they abused his works it's left them no choice but to sue. I hope he bankrupts them. I used to run a banksy fan site and often received emails addressed to banksy. Had requests for hi res images, had a watch company asking for license to use images etc. Someone more unscrupulous could of quite easily of exploited that. I used to forward a lot to jo brooks but never got a response.

Haven't received anything either. Even checked my spam folder. I took a screenshot of the confirmation page and my contact info is correct. Top of the page says " Your application is confirmed. Once we have verified you are a genuine art collector, and if we have this item in stock, we will contact you with a private check-out link."

It is 100euro and only 10 back. I really like it - and is as cheap as it gets

Based on what I've read they aren't claiming they were issued a license fraudulently, in fact they admit that their attorney tried to reach out to PC multiple times to pay them and get formal licenses.
Because he has not responded, they are disputing his claim to the trademark so that they may use his works free and clear.
This we're a small business that just sells greeting card nonsense is just that. They licensed 20 works to Medicom which sold for $400 a pop. Let's assume they net half of the take and the cost for manufacturing, packaging, design, etc was $80. So they are netting $160 USD per figure. Let's also assume each edition was about 1000. So this oh-woe-is-me-we're-so-small-and-really-Banksy-is-the-bully business made around $3.2M USD on licensing works they don't own the license to.
I don't blame him for suing them. Cheeky enough for them to have issued the Medicom license but to try and snatch his trademark???
