BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by drip on Oct 20, 2019 15:14:05 GMT 1, Well, I was just going by the words of the statement, but if you're talking thoughts, I'm not sure I think Banksy's saying we should all illegally park in disabled parking spaces, drink and drive or commit rape (that escalated quickly). I like to think that he's suggesting we should think critically. But we all see the world through our own lenses (or lens if you've only got one eye). Sure. But all your examples are crimes, against the law and morally bad. We are just trying to buy a piece of art work at a discount cost... Yeah, but do you think (in that original statement) Banksy was talking about not bombing innocent civilians or about trying to purchase more than one item from an art website?
I thought you'd focus more on the "Copyright is for losers" thing that Banksy may or may not have said/printed at some point in the past. Then we can discuss about whether, over time, an individual can change their mind, based on the acquisition of new information.
Edit: Oh, and I hope you manage to purchase whichever item(s) you have your heart set on.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by lukewarm on Oct 20, 2019 15:43:11 GMT 1, Yeah.. it's a very known public fact that Banksy is a White Lightening drinker and hates John Smith with a passion, quite often citing it at a 'fascists drink', so rather unfortunately he holds a grudge of people with that name.
In other news I'm loving the Basquiat homage - personally I think it's as much a 'doth of the cap' to a fellow artist who came from humble street tagging beginnings as it was a comment on his art market. Highlighting how his career was picked up by the media and the elitist krew which subsequently added to his own demise, unlike Banksy whose anonymity has protected him from that fate and has allowed him to actually comment on the aforementioned institutional art virus!
p.s How could you cock up on the ordering (no offence)!?! It took 5 mins to read through and understand the 1 per person per IP address / address precaution, I went for the Banksquiat print myself.
All in all i've been over the moon with the entire GDP exhibition, being my first serious Banksy drop (was at uni for the Dismaland exhibit and was too focused on doing my best to flop my Fine art degree!)
Anywho, good luck to those out there who are going to covert their piece if they get it!

That looks great. Is the paper so thin you pretty much have to mat it for framing?

Thanks, the paper is extremely thin and will turn yellow over time so some people might think I'm mental for doing it but I got it with UV protected glass. I did my best to keep it in good condition but you can see how it may ripple as time goes on. But at least it'll be kept to the best condition I can keep it for her. The frame is matt, it's my go to with most things. Total cost was £108.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Deleted on Oct 20, 2019 16:04:19 GMT 1, Well, unless Team B knows the person behind the forum name (hi guys!), you're going to have to post what your answer to the Bloom question is on the "does art matter?" thread, THEN they can match the forum name to your order and see whether you give off nice sounds or bad sounds. He's making a list, he's checking it twice, because he's had about 170,000 emails asking if he can cancel people's multiple orders, gonna find out who's naughty or nice, Banksy Claus is coming...….to.... Hi mate ! Well it’s a bit worrying mon ami , at the end ( I don’t speak of your comments ) all these things and words, posts, that make those who have been wrong in their own country and applications : they are feeling guilty and, anyway, they deserve as much as others to buy a little artwork on the Banksy website. Fatal and tragic error ! it looks like (not you), We should be ashamed, that Bansky wants to punish us, that we should flee and hide because of the mistake! Even some posts are contemptuous and - instead of helping us find a solution, either do not answer us ( Invaded per example concerning the tee and mail ). Why this hate ? Are we not all members and bro here ! Can we help Us instead of mocking us etc ? So, my question is simple : and I, we would like to know : should we have to pm’ GDP or not ? Of course they are busy with mails, and or because of us, but it was the game too , and a bit of humanity should be great here and/or there. Ta.
LRoy, did you or did you not end up with a Sales Ends 2? Because if you did well it seems that the mistakes you made didn’t matter did they?

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Rouen Cathedral on Oct 20, 2019 16:06:13 GMT 1, Sure.
Oh believe me I bring up the copyright quote all the time.
People here just say I’m a hater. 😄😄😄

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by tonysantos2001 on Oct 20, 2019 16:21:13 GMT 1, I reckon you'll be able to narrow down the location of Banksy's new craft studio by the fact that it'll sit in the centre of this circle where no charity shop can keep a branded t-shirt in stock. T-Shirts were (likely) purchased via a company called Blue Rinse, they're one of the biggest distributors of vintage/2nd hand clothing in the U.K.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ctc2 on Oct 20, 2019 16:27:13 GMT 1, I have been around a while. I bought Banksy prints when they were plentiful on POW, failed miserably at F5'ing, and then missed out on the subsequent lotteries. One thing I have observed on this forum is that Banksy will set out some rules of the road and then this forum will fill in the empty spaces with projections of what they would like the rules to mean which include aspirations of fairness and hope. My feeling is that most of that is crap and that in the end, the Banksy machine is running a business and is not spending unlimited resources on trying to find "good homes" for goods, instead they are selling to make a profit and drive demand of higher priced items as well as publicity to fuel the engine of commerce. The rules Banksy creates for these sales are a study in psychology. The rules are designed to create the perception of scarcity. They set them up and try and trick people into self governance. I am sure that they run all the names, addresses and emails to remove duplicates. That is pretty easy to do. Past that, I don't believe they spend much time on it or thinking about it. GDP is a means to an end. Copyright and trademark protection. The folks behind Banksy are not Robin Hoods. They are lawyers, accountants, business people, and high priced ones at that. They know what they are doing. They are also using all of us to achieve their ends. I am not saying those ends are sinister, just that they have their agenda and we have ours. Maybe I am wrong but it is just my observation after watching this phenomenon unfold over the last twelve years or so.

You’ve just inadvertently hit on why banksy and laz parted ways. So... Why did Banksy and Laz part ways exactly?

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by shinkaiser on Oct 20, 2019 20:17:03 GMT 1, People messaging gdp to get some of there order requests cancelled as they have applied more than once lol the forum never changes. People getting greedy. At least it will give some people who have never had a Banksy a chance an who read the instructions first I agree.
If you were stupid enough to put in a duplicate order then sorry, you've blown your slim chance. The best you can hope for is that their automative system deletes all but one of your duplicate orders. And sending an email to explain....! you're basically giving the recipient extra work for your dumb mistake. Do you really think they'll sift through 300K+ orders for you? lol!
Personally if I were tasked with the job, I'll be looking for any reason to cut the orders down, and you would have given me the perfect excuse.

Sorry, but weird, naughty, and wrong comment. Not fair at all , as all comments about this mistake or misunderstanding : it’s not because of that ( I know - have great mates ) that you will get morve chances to win. Karma , karma brings peace, luck and love. I think some members drink too much. Anger and bitter.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Terry Fuckwitt on Oct 20, 2019 20:25:08 GMT 1, I asked before, but never got an answer. How did anyone order more than one item? I added 3 things to basket in panic when site went live and it then prompted me that it was max 1 item. Keep reading people over applied, but don't get how.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by seamusdorey on Oct 20, 2019 20:25:18 GMT 1, Bravo, thank you for sharing your thoughts, interesting post.
I have been around a while.
