My Rat for your crisis , by iamzero on Nov 12, 2019 12:18:09 GMT 1, I can’t help feeling that a reason for for advice might help rather than just a hunch. For instance I guess the rat is probably a more Banksy like representation so could be the one to hold on to visually but the Crisis is obviously likely to be a more rare print so you might not want to part with it so easily?

My Rat for your crisis , by Gurn on Nov 12, 2019 13:06:02 GMT 1, The Rat is by far the best image of the three..Iconic Banksy imagery that works without the context of the clock, imo. The Thrower only works as a standalone piece if you are unfamiliar with the bigger picture....and the Crisis indeed "is a bit...."
Thrower and Crisis do probably have a rarity value...but I'm just talking artistic merit.

My Rat for your crisis , by Forbidden Love on Nov 12, 2019 14:59:45 GMT 1, For me personally if it was one or the other in terms of image I would deff stick with the Rat, I personally don't like crisis either. The rat is a iconic Banksy so I would deff be choosing this to hang over crisis. I really like flowers also, I think this image as standalone becomes a bit more romantic, especially being in black.
If we are talking monetary value, I think the longterm it will be 1.flowers, 2.rat 3.crisis. Flowers and rat both are typical banksy images, but flowers will always have the edge because of its link to thrower and also it being much more limited.
Depends your reasons, if its swap for personal taste then you should look for a swap, if its for longer term value I would stay.

My Rat for your crisis , by anodyne13 on Nov 13, 2019 1:19:01 GMT 1, One thing I like about Crisis is the print is a replica of of the actual work of art and thus not missing any context. Rat is missing the clock and Thrower is missing the other 2 sections. All three are really great for different reasons.

My Rat for your crisis , by nik2000 on Nov 13, 2019 2:36:46 GMT 1, don't see the hate around crisis, it works by itself and was the rarest imo, the flower and rat were given to everyone, pretty sure the crisis was only to kids/first day.
also the crisis is the only coloured one, made with 2 screens, so harder to make. if that makes a difference.

My Rat for your crisis , by ajr on Nov 13, 2019 14:09:28 GMT 1, I have all 3. My favourite is the Flower Thrower as an image (apart from the hand!!), but I like the details in the Rat. Crisis is definitely the most rare - hardly any come up on ebay and I don't think I have seen any obvious fakes yet, probably due to the 2 colours. Rat and Thrower are on the wall, not sure if I will also put Crisis up as well - sort of feel bad not having all 3 up together!

My Rat for your crisis , by Gurn on Nov 13, 2019 14:58:30 GMT 1, I don't have the Flower Thrower, but the problem for me is the gap between the arm and the edge of the print. It seems to me that unless you mat up to the arm with a dark mat it just looks a bit weird, like the arm is floating in mid air. Of course, the issue that might come with a dark mat (and this paper) is discolouration.

Never use any colour mount on a frame job
Never saw what you have referred to, for me the image works great. I like the unrefined nature of it. You can’t like graffiti and street art if your gonna get that particular 🙂 rock n roll

Not sure if anyone said hate. I’m just not sure why I would want it on my wall, unless I’m missing something or didn’t understand it. What makes you think it’s rarer then flowers. Crisis was given out on 2 days and flowers on 1. Lots of crisis were offered up before. They will all (including rat) dry up once they all get bought from our favourite auction site and people get them framed up
Mine are currently at framers and happy to share a pic once I get them back. 👍👌

I think you will find that most writers and artists are very particular. It's the finer details that count.
