SCAM...Please Read and BEWARE doing business with SESSSION, by FЯ on Jan 8, 2020 10:59:04 GMT 1, Hi all. Wanted to make a quick list to warm anyone from doing business with SESSSION as I seem to have been scammed. In mid December he posted a “please help, selling art to help bring a dear friend home who passed away” listing on the forum for sale pages. I made offers on the Lister prints he included in the post. I was told I was high bidder and win so I made payment on December 18. I contacted him after to get status of shipment and received a DM on December 24th that he had not had time to ship but would the following week. That week has come and gone and now we are into another week and are quickly approaching the 1 month mark since making payment. He has since gone silent after repeated attempts to contact him and the person (Rachel Field) who he had me make payment to. If someone knows him I would love nothing more than to get word to him, have him make good on her sake, ship, and me receive the prints I paid for and update and/or remove my post, but until that time expect me to add to this often to keep it at the top of the pages as I don’t appreciate getting ripped off and don’t want anyone else to have to deal with the same thing. I guess I’m a “plonker” for trusting that someone needed help with an unfortunate event.

But the urban dictionary and language barrier failed to inform you that it’s also a nod to a famous British sitcom ‘Only fools and horses’ whereby a leading character is also named ‘Rodney’ and is often called a Plonker throughout.
Although you were called a Plonker, this would have been suggested as a light hearted comment and the original poster wouldn’t have intended any significant upset and would have intended to help you with the suggestion of PayPal. Good luck with the issue and hopefully it’s easily resolved. Mange tout.

I'm sure things will come good. If he was trying to scam with a story like that, he would have probably gone for some big ticket items. Hopefully things work out soon for you.

I have filed a claim with PayPal so I suppose they will sort it out and refund me if it comes to that. Honestly I’m not very optimistic he will though as I’ve tried to contact him through the email attached to the PayPal account with no reply. I will definitely update as things progress.
Have you tried to contact the organiser of the gofundme page? They could be related to the guy that passed away, so be nice as they could have more on their minds.

If you looked on the go fund me page your amount was paid less postage and I was going to post this Saturday which is the first opportunity I would have had after working a 9-5 this week. I’m sorry I hadn’t been on the forum since the new year but I’ve been busy with my 9 week old son who was rushed to hospital with bronchitis last week. If it was weeks late I could understand but it’s only been 7 days since the 2nd of Jan.

In the Uk no one really started back to work after the holidays until the 2nd of January and it’s now the 9th so it’s only been 1 week and as you said in your post I’ve had a bit more on my plate than a bit of art these past weeks and I’m sorry about that. I mentioned the go fund page to show that the money went straight from you to me to there, saying I scammed you somehow could make people think I might have pocketed the money when it was to help repatriate my friend.
As I said above I’ll get this sent off to you on Saturday.

Been a member on here for a long time, sold plenty items without hassle, knowledgable posts etc etc. I know that the likes of Red Rooster can still appear from time to time but a quick scan of Sessions post history would hardly indicate scammer.
The two weeks he “dissappeared” for would be pretty much what most folks do in the UK at this time of year and the last place you want to go near is a feckin post office.

Been a member on here for a long time, sold plenty items without hassle, knowledgable posts etc etc. I know that the likes of Red Rooster can still appear from time to time but a quick scan of Sessions post history would hardly indicate scammer.

Let me take the high road and simply say that you are a better man than I if you buy something and the seller disappears for two full weeks and you don’t think anything of it or don’t post negative feedback. To the seller, poor form on the communication. Just bad. Trump can find a moment to tweet, so it shouldn't be that hard to get in touch and say what's up.

UAA in particular is quick to act on posts that could be interpreted as bullying so I wouldn't be surprised if OPs post is removed in the near future.
