He's been showing around the Midwest mostly for the last couple years. Originally from Iceland and now living in Chicago. Think that the piece he had recently with the Juxtapose group show was what really poised him for more recognition and the wider interest in the art world. It led to larger, more established galleries being interested (think he's now showing with Richard Heller) in his work, the article in Juxtapose, and an interest from collectors (new and old). It's well deserved andI look forward to seeing his work progress.

Makes me nostalgic of emotional moments from my life. In some of the paintings I appreciate his reference of and nod to art historical works that appear to be influences/inspiration. I appreciate the technique and his abilities. I like it, I appreciate it and it makes me happy. That's why I own a couple pieces. I hoped he would gain success and appreciation from others and glad he has. And those that don't know, his wife is also a stellar artist (IMO).

I absolutely love Louise Bonnet although that train has long left the station.

Richard Heller gallery is the shit and Richard himself couldnโt be a nicer guy. One of the realest galleries I know hands down!

Im sure im doing all these artists a disservice .. but it would appear this is the Norwegian stencil art craze of the 2020's.. ( and i admit to getting caught up in that back in the day!)
thought there was a big Philiip Guston influence and then he says he has copied one of his, nice to be right occasionally..really interesting..sure as hell dont want one though!
