Artist ReEvaluation No 1 - Elbowtoe, by Cocteau 101 on Jul 30, 2020 7:48:46 GMT 1, I thought I'd start this thread to enable members, new and old to take a look at some of the artists who seem to have faded from prominence and to some newer members may even be unknown.
Their background, their art, where they are now etc:
Please do not use this thread to merely promote an artist that you like but post in the context of the above:
I shall start later today with the artist ELBOWTOE - BRIAN ADAM DOUGLAS.
An overview of his work can be found at www.elbowtoe.com
He had a real following in the street art community a few years ago and is a phenomenal draughtsman.

Artist ReEvaluation No 1 - Elbowtoe, by arthobo on Jul 30, 2020 9:41:40 GMT 1, As Bram mentioned his collage pieces were amazing and my favourite of all his work. They at first glance look like oil paintings, until you look closely and see it is all tiny bits of exquisitely coloured and applied cuts of paper! Well worth checking out.

He has moved on since back then... now teaching .. but i'm sure , itching to get back on the street. iirc the orig was quite large...

You're right coach...think it was easycraig that built a separate structure in his backyard to house an enormous and epic Elbowtoe piece!

Artist ReEvaluation No 1 - Elbowtoe, by Cocteau 101 on Feb 23, 2021 15:24:37 GMT 1, I found a set of 10 prints by Elbowtoe today, the ones release in 2009 directly from him for around $30 each. They are lovely and a lot of new members would probably find a great deal of pleasure in doing a search on his name on this forum to see some great work.
