LA editions , by JD on Dec 6, 2020 21:19:21 GMT 1, Thanks for all the messages. Weird how many people don’t read and message asking if there’s a coa. No coa...you’d be the first applying. Local deal only. Based in LA Nothing personal, but anyone buying or thinking of buying any editioned Banksy prints from anyone or anywhere...
Never, ever, buy an editioned Banksy print without a verified COA from Pest Control.
Not even if they have the parking ticket ?

LA editions , by BME on Dec 6, 2020 21:32:23 GMT 1, I think I’d flip this and suggest that no one should ever sell without a COA unless it’s absolutely essential - because it’s clearly going to significantly impact on the market value of the print. From a buyer’s perspective though if the seller has receipts/ correspondence from POW then I’d consider it, if the price was right. I’ve bought Banksy prints on this basis in the past and have been able to obtain COAs for them without any bother.

Then tell them to get the COAs sorted. Any buyer should question why they’ve not been applied for.

LA editions , by Lazarus II on Dec 7, 2020 18:46:46 GMT 1, Im helping with the sale. Then tell them to get the COAs sorted. Any buyer should question why they’ve not been applied for. wouldnt be the first thread on here were owners of prints from years gone by didnt have COA’s. Some folks accrued loads of prints for not much more than the price of a COA and if not selling then no need to shell out £60 per COA or however much it costs these days.
That said, the market for selling with and without COA’s is very different.
