Question about galleries, by corbu on Feb 13, 2021 13:02:06 GMT 1, Hi everyone. I approached a gallery about buying a work of an artist I like. They responded by indicating that I need to buy a work of one of their other artists. Is that normal? It's not a major gallery.
If it is normal, can I make it conditional on getting the work that I want? I don't want to buy this other work and then find out that nothing from the artist I want is available.
