What art/artist just leaves you cold?, by rungsp on Feb 17, 2021 14:31:27 GMT 1, For me there is one that stands out had and shoulders as "WTF is that about?"
KAWS' toys.
That is all they are to me, little figurine toys. Utterly poundland.
His other stuff...not my favourite, but I can see why people like it, and some of it is really interesting.
The toys though...really...WTF?

I was just saying there are some artists which works I like but Iโm just a little dumbfounded at the price some people command. For artists currently living I really enjoy Nina Chanel Abbeyโs work and I think thenjiwe nkosiโs last show had a lot of great pieces. Even though this is a banksy forum Iโm actually not that into banksy. So sadly not a man of class.

For me, I find Martin Whatson art not very timeless, and a boring fad.
