I guess the question is what are you asking about. Is it a show put on by Bansky? or Is it a chance to go and see some of Banksy's artwork? If it is the latter, then I assume the answer is yes, probably about as good of a chance as you will get without traveling somewhere, though I have no knowledge of what the show actually is.
It clearly states on the website that it is unauthorized.

Asking questions and get one word answers like I should already know these things or that asking for info from other board memebers is tedious to them. Or when you miss something people like Slevin are quick to point things out that “it was already answered” sheesh….the attitudes on this board (and not just this thread) make me wonder how some of these people walk through doorways which their heads so inflated…. |

On a scale of 1 to 10 - ten being the best - I feel the show was a solid 2.
I was astounded by the lack of quality original works and the high amount of secondary collectibles such as stickers, posters, CD's and home goods.
The show was confusing, cheesy and reeked of a corporate money grab. There were several works that were borderline authentic like a Signed Black Grim Reaper on paper in Chalk and A large Grim Reaper Canvas.
There were many works that you couldn't tell if they were purposely a replica of the real ones or just a screen print on canvas. What I found completely low brow was that the majority of prints they had on the walls had paper covering the edition number. The walls looked like a cheap EBAY listing gone bad.
If I was Banksy, I would be livid not only that everyone but him is benefiting financially from this travesty - but it really cheapens his brand and the show was a poor attempt at visual stimulation. Once I left the show I really felt dirty and was in desperate need of a mental and physical cleansing. Shame on me for going, and shame on those who feel entitled to profit from the intellectual property of our leader Mr. B.

the show won't be official and Charlotte much as it pains me - won't be seeing a show by Banksy.
If on the other hand (the positive hand) .. the organizer promise in writing the fee is going to charity then perhaps that might encourage a double take.
