The impact might not be measurable, but Iโm sure millions (and me included) have chosen to live their life according to this message at least partially inspired by them.

I very much agree with you about Marina Abramovic, she is fantastic. I think because Lennon is always mentioned in the same breath as Ono and often vice versa, maybe being his wife did stifle her later work and career (just a thought!). I agree Ono has not had he same appeal to people beyond performance art as Abramovic and her work which is rooted in the Fluxus movement principles is often very minimalistic and conceptual and hence difficult to get your head around (here รญ very much include myself!). At the end of he day I think Ono is probably more an artists artist.

Imagine if this other artist had very much remained in her 'own vacuum art world' - for example staging a conceptual exhibition in MOMA's Sculpture Garden in 1966, selling hundreds of mirrored balls amid signs proclaiming 'Your Narcissism For Sale' as a commentary on the commercialism of modern art.
Not unlike Ono's 1971 conceptual MOMA exhibition in which she printed art catalogues, released flies *Damien Hirst anyone, and then filmed the reactions of the public who had come to see the exhibition.
