wanted : Thick Tube 885mm, by victoryzz on Jul 17, 2022 21:49:07 GMT 1, Need to send my blek le rat print to Australia but cant find a strong tube wide enough. Its a large print so need to be 885mm (A0) long but the only tubes I can find for sale are too narrow and don't look thick enough. Does anyone either have an old tube I can buy (ideall 10cm wide or so and 85cm long) or know where I can get one?

Alternatively, are there any framers near you? They usually have an over abundance of tubes that they sometimes will give away for free, as they will otherwise just throw them out/recycle.

Go to Wickes or B&Q and get a piece of plastic waste pipe and cut to size Deffo won't break as well in transport totally agree - Wickes Waste Pipe is what you want - normal plastic drainpipes are too thin but a waste pipe is really thick plastic. i have stood on one before and its solid and really stiff - just double check the inside to make sure no rough bit/burrs on it before you insert the print |

I stopped using drainpipe after three in a row got opened and inspected by customs. Went back to using a tube inside a tube instead.
