my parents acquired a Banksy over 15 years ago. It was captured in Vienna and is documented in his mini series & blogs - yet Pest Office wont verfiy the work since it "was not intentionally made for sale".

The work was sprayed on a junction box panel, which the city replaced with a new one due to their vandalism policy. My parents saw the work at a flea market 15 years ago and acquired it.

Does anyone have experience in verifying such works?

The work features a unique motif with distinct characteristics of the artist's ouvre and is roughly 30 x 20 inches large.

Any idea or tipps are highly appreciated
