The Cost of Freedom, Gaza editions, by RoboJ on Dec 26, 2023 14:17:06 GMT 1, Hello I hope everyone is having a peaceful festive period with your families. (It’s not overly peaceful here with 2 very excited children!  )
Ive been creating a series of butterflies over the years to raise money for charities. The latest piece, available today, is my Gaza edition to raise funds for the IRC. They have been supporting those caught in the humanitarian crisis by supplying aid and even mediating hostage resolutions.
These butterflies are handmade from 20 Shekel Banknotes and set into a 3D printed body. An edition of 9 is available mounted on 300gsm Somerset paper and there is an edition of 4 sculptures mounted onto handmade brass branches and displayed in a glass dome.
All profits are being donated from the sales which are available now on my website.
