I have a white canvas with some spray on it.. quite simple...
im looking for any inspiration as its going to hang on a white wall and at the moment it needs a frame to give it some life..
any one got any ideas.
the canvas it self is mainly raw / white primed canvas not ready to share the work

And for me, framing ALWAYS goes with the image, colour, composition ... not knowing what you are trying to frame makes it near impossible to suggest anything. But as a wild guess I would say that a white floating wood frame could work!?

They are framed in the artistโs original frames. Which is what I do with all my canvases. Itโs raw, itโs real, itโs how the artist saw the piece as they made it. The art speaks for itself. Not interpreted or translated or augmented through you or your framer.
Same with my paper works and prints - if the artist didnโt frame it, it goes in a plain white floater, with full sheet exposed.
At most, throw it in a white (maybe, maybe black) tray frame like Acme if you absolutely must add some โfinishโ to it.
just my 1/50th of a $โฆ
