Backdoor prints are anything but fine. Stolen images, yes. Causing continued confusion as to what consists as a true 'backdoor' print VS a flat out fake meant to deceive, yes. Harmful to the integrity of the print market, yes. 'Fine' in any way shape or form, NO.

IMO POW et el made a massive mistake by letting these out, however close they are to the originals. However, richy is well within his rights to sell them and certainly hasn't mislead any buyers, the mistake lies elsewhere.

So you bought them, or traded for them? Regardless of how you are selling them, you are opening the door for some unscrouplous person to purchase them, put a number on them that matches an authentic print with proper provonance, and put it back on the market to take advantage of someone. Ginger is right on... you are perpetuating a problem that is eroding the provenance guarantee and the amusing part is that you can have no guarantee the same thing hasn't happened with the print you paid for and feel is legitimate. Surely you can see how this is an issue!

the only way pow could remove these from circulation, that's if they even wanted to, would be to offer an incentive. there's no way the people who own them are going to accept a loss of a few hundred quid, just for the sake of the industry. i know i wouldn't.

the print i paid for i have full prov as the guy is the original owner.
they are being sold for my housemate. He is on this forum too as a "well respected member"
we both went to the dface BRP show and brought a st imp each, we then traded them on here for these 3 prints,
anyway i dont give a shit, they will be sold, if your so worried just dont buy a pulp fiction with a scratch on the top right or a monkey queen with a brown mark...
