Ebay question, by swedishgirl on Jul 10, 2008 11:00:52 GMT 1, If I bought something, on ebay (I put in a cheeky low bid on a print and it got accepted) and then I have second thoughts about it because I am not 100% convinced it is the real deal, what can happen to me if I do not buy it?

Ebay question, by snakes on Jul 10, 2008 11:04:41 GMT 1, The buyer will open a dispute and you may receive a negative mark (not feedback) against your name!
As a buyer now you can no longer get negative feedback.
I would contact the buyer and you can agree not to buy the item (by mutual agreement) and then they get refunded their listing fees etc.
What was the said item?

Ebay question, by bmjt on Jul 10, 2008 11:34:45 GMT 1, Tell the seller you no longer want it, he should file a non-paying dispute, you get an e-mail asking what your position is, select the option 'you and the seller have decided you no longer want the item', an e-mail will then be sent to the seller, in which they will be asked if they agree with this, ie. agreed you no longer want it, if they confirm this, the sale will be ended, the seller will get all their fees back and no-pne will receive any strikes or anything. The only issue is getting the seller to agree to the position and happy to say you no longer want it. Hope this helps, drop me a line if you need any more help.
