Ahh mate, I would love to include everyone and maybe will eventually but just at the moment people are getting added if they are very significant artists that have a large accomplished body of work or who have won a vote. I've already been cheeky and included some personal favorites and i do love rippers crucipods (and own a canvas which represents one of my favorite pieces) and would love him to win the January vote (they're will be one every month at least). However as it stands i think there are quite a few artists i've yet to add that historically really should be there and they will be added first. I Hope that answers your question.
However speak to Ripper direct, he might have an artists proof knocking about or even a canvas (it saves on framing, really good idea).
Here is my black on black (it changes with the light in a religious way, bloody amazing)....

, by darjeeling on Dec 30, 2007 4:55:05 GMT 1, Hats off for creating such an ambitious site. My only worry with this thing is that since there is no listing fee some of the prices people might put up will be ridiculous as they might figure its no cost and no loss to them to put some stuff up with total piss take prices and see if anyone bites. The Neates are a perfect example as well as some Failes and several others. I'd recommend haggling the hell out of those prints big time. But then again it's nice to see that some prints are priced very reasonably like most of the Micallefs.

Agreed. Cool site. Keep up the good work. I can fast see it catching on. As mentioned, the Micallefs look especially reasonable! Beautiful Kngee canvas on there too, ยฃ800 is a steal for the work that must have gone into it (it's not mine BTW!).

Thats our own man romanywg selling that baby. Its great to see artists using the site. Another artist hooked up with a mate of mine to sell a piece to him (they both work in bangc**k). Saboteur is actually bringing people together. People are bothering to exchange art over a beer or meal. There is a living breathing community underneath it all.

Any chance of a section with completed trades etc

I will start to search for the other two, but if you ever decide to part with it drop me a pm (before putting it up on that dodgy site of yours )

Yeah there's a tiny one, medium one and massive one. I got the middle one. Good luck on your quest.

, by finsburyparkranger on Jan 1, 2008 22:39:14 GMT 1, Looks like some people just don't like a level playing field. No forged prints have been sold on saboteur as far as i know. There's more banksy experts keeping an eye on things than ebay could ever dream off. Someone was trying to sell banky tenners that were highly questionable and that sale did not go through due to the problem being quickly identified and a blanket ban on banksy tenners without prov has been maintained.
As always if you ever see anything fishy on the site get in touch with me straight away and I'll remove it before ebay would have even responded to your query. Most people have my number.
Feel free to leave a message for 'donkey'.

I will shortly start saboteuring ebay legitmatly by selling an auctionsaboteur trojan horse . Naturally.
Also I'm planning on adding an extension to the site which will attract many people that have never come across street art hopefully, its my hope that saboteur is just a little sister to something much bigger which is quite different, again taking on the big boys ( another multinational ).
Also as the peer to peer market has a place to become organized the best prices become obvious and organically it will become known as a good place to get a fair price. Lastly, after the second wave of improvents (very soon) and i'm really happy that it is something really special I'll pull the starting trigger for those in the media and PR world to stop trying to flog chocolate or war for a moment and throw some weight behind the concept in the 'real world' and there are well placed people ready to do this (however not a trump card I can play often, so I need to make sure that timing is correct and everything is in place).
The site is getting over 400 visits a day currently and has had somewhere between 5k - 10 k trade in its first month. The current total members are 363.
Shortly the site will be offering a really damn cool t-shirt range that celebrates the ethos that is behind saboteur as well as working with some pretty cool artists to bring out some 'artist managed' exclusives. Its also my hope that i can 'flip' a few bespoke items every now and again at cost on a first come first served basis to its members through email, just as a matter of thanks to those that have registered and supported the new idea. As well as introducing in house โoutsider artistsโ
Saboteur its self may never really make any serious money though, it exists mainly as an act of political expression to create a 'post industrial online art gallery' that changes the dynamics of the means of production and distribution forever by supporting the peer to peer community. In this respect, the little revolution has already happened in my eyes and how much people want to share and promote the concept with each other is as up to them as it is up to me.
My real concern is how to make the site even better and concentrating my efforts on chopping the next multi national down to size more than i have with the ebay. The next effort really might pack a big punch (totally new concept) , we shall see....
Fire in the hole !

, by finsburyparkranger on Jan 5, 2008 17:31:16 GMT 1, are you going to be putting in more artists finsbury? i for one would like to be able to put in other artists section or something similar? any chance bud?
If you know of any artists that are significant enough to go into an urban arts hall of fame especially if you have art to sell then shout out. Otherwise wait untill the second wave. I'll try to make it so that anyone can add an artist, although I must admit that if this was to happen the site may get so large that i might need to consider an 'adopt and artist' fee to help keep the site affordable, although if I can help not doing this i wont. My only problem is that money is now very tight (-10k ... I even had to sell my only signed banksy to stay afloat) and the programmer will be wanting another 5k for my new mad cap idea.
Either way, pm me your artist and let me have a think.

Love the website, very professional and a good look. Is it possible to include what has sold and at what price? Just a thought...
Good luck with it...

I think I might email the final trading stats to all members once a month. I will try to inlcude all the site statistics too. So you can see how many people in japan are logging on, pie charts, graphs, crunched stats the lot.
In the future ill aim to make this information feely available on the web site itself.

I could make it so the person needs to log in every month or so to keep their listings going. Thats should keep things fresh.

, by insite on Jan 5, 2008 19:28:06 GMT 1, Well as it's art and sabbing combined how about Dr D. Ok lets keep entry to those that have something for sale and those who can provide a square image that represents the artist well. Does Dr D have anything to bring to the table?
By "bring to the table" do you mean prints for sale ? if so yes already available at a couple of places including Art-el www.art-el.co.uk/dr_d.php?cID=23&osCsid=d79cc0d1f0bcbe7bbe8d387e9b0ba860
I suggested Dr D as I thought that there were conceptual similarities in her work and your site but it's not like I'm in touch with her or anything. Anyhow good excuse to put up a pic of one of my favourites ;D
