Flattening Prints • Creased, Folded, Rolled or Rippled , by tasmannelson on Jan 27, 2021 23:01:16 GMT 1, I have had the same issues. I have used foam board and acid free tissue paper but I found the easiest way was to unroll the print leave it loose for a couple hours and then slide into a protective sleeve. Maybe I’ve been lucky but I’ve had some varied paper quality to deal with the most difficult was an old Stein print from graffiti street but that took about two hours to ease in. I rescued a copyright print fthat was tightly rolled (really tight!) it went wavy but a year later it’s looking awesome in its sleeve and hopefully I’ll be able to float Mount. If you have an expensive print or any reservations regarding your confidence in doing this I would go to a paper conservationist. I’ve used Graham Bignell he is a great guy to deal with.

Flattening Prints • Creased, Folded, Rolled or Rippled , by New Wave Dave on Oct 5, 2023 13:50:09 GMT 1, Yeh, this was fascinating. Made me realize that buying posters in a pretty rough condition was not such a bad idea!

Flattening Prints • Creased, Folded, Rolled or Rippled , by Fluffy Pillow on Oct 5, 2023 14:27:15 GMT 1, Always fascinated by the methods and items being corrected. I highly recommend Poster Mountain in California. I have had a few items repaired and always professional work, communication, and S&H. Keep that in mind should you find a discounted gem or ancient relic.
