Help with AntiVirus Pro (spyware) remover???, by stillborncrisps on Jan 10, 2010 17:30:46 GMT 1, My mate's PC has got infected with Antivirus Pro, itself some sort of spyware that's trying to con you to hand over money, but it's totally crippling his machine.
Anyone know how to successfully get it removed (for free)? I'm Mac based, so smug & clueless.
It's hard searching for solutions coz how does one know if the solutions offered aren't also a trick!
