Agreed Bongo, £275 for nothing special, a bit boring in my opinion like everything so far. Who's buying all this stuff? Is it really all sold out in seconds? I though judging by the stacks of great stuff available on the selling threads here nobody had any money at the mo.Prices are down but Santas stuff is up Clever marketing I think and not as sold out as it would seem

Lucy McLauchlan - Twins Right Special, by CR on Dec 15, 2007 13:22:47 GMT 1, 3D may be sold out due to the small edition, but I don't believe that half the other stuff is sold out.
I was on last night and LM was regularly popping up and GV!
I think PoW is dripping them in, and well done, means if you miss out you still have a chance!
I also reckon some of these that look sold out will be available well into the New Year.

Lucy McLauchlan - Twins Right Special, by klyde on Dec 15, 2007 13:32:41 GMT 1, Pretty smart image. But you would really need both of them imo. And that that price its nuts. Remember the framing costs on top of it.

Not just saying this because I only bought one, but I really think it could look a bit naff having the symetrical, matching effect ! Its a bit like the 'his & hers' theme to the Thai terror pics - 1 image definitely works ok for me - I'm with you all on the prices too .... I've bought into it all myself so cannot complain, but this "We're all a bit edgy and hip at POW whilst we take in £££'s and play around with releasing prints to keep you guessing" is wearing a bit thin.

Lucy McLauchlan - Twins Right Special, by alvington89 on Dec 15, 2007 13:52:33 GMT 1, Bongo is right.
Some better prints available from last year on ebay for similar prices or less. Good time to buy whilst attention is diverted.

Alright I will answer you,NO 3D isnt boring I was generallising, however 3D isnt something I would want on my wall and Im suprised they all sold out so fast, a whole collection ? smells fishy. Not even one 3D left I mean come on? No not boring, not at all and looks talented just not stand out thats all.

Another thing which I cannot understand is ..... how come BAST's work (admittedly signed and hand customised) all sold out extremely fast without little or no returns from the basket and all at fairly high prices, when his prints on POW are still very much available. I know they aren't signed and are far bigger print runs, but they are £20 for gods sake - you'd pay more for an Ikea print !

Lucy McLauchlan - Twins Right Special, by syrren on Dec 15, 2007 15:42:45 GMT 1, I think we don't realize the number of people actual buying prints through Santa's ghetto. It must be 1000's of people worldwide, 50 prints would be a drop in ocean, no wonder they go so quickly. 50 could easily disappear into people baskets in less than 20s. Also people only want to buy signed prints, thats why Gee Vaucher and Bast unsigned prints are still available on POW, the only exception being Banksy!
