MIX-REMIX Guy Dennning & Harry Simmonds Show, by MaugerModernArt on Aug 22, 2008 16:29:10 GMT 1, This is the first heads up for the MIX-REMIX Denning & Simmonds show coming up at Mauger Modern Art in Feb 09. Work is being made in their studios right now - the reason for the show's title - each artist is working on their own canvases in their usual mediums, and then as a left-field experiment for an unknown number of pieces, they'll be working on each other's paintings, creating Denning/Simmonds remixes. Approximately 22 paintings will be in the exhibition in addition to 2 - 6 hybrid works.
We have no idea how these remixes will turn out or exactly what to expect yet, but we do think it's an exciting prospect so do watch this space for updates - We'll be posting some photos of works in progress as they come in.
A full catalogue wil be printed for this show. Publication release dates to follow. For those interested in receiving a preview link to view the works on show nearer the date, drop us a line at the gallery and we'll put you on the list.
