banksy uk exit throught the gift shop, by siegelsiegel on Jun 11, 2010 1:19:12 GMT 1, i just received my exit through the gift shop movie poster and am quite concerned over the authenticity. The poster is on very thin paper with the entire back being blue. I opened it at my framers to ensure i didnt damage it and tomorrow i will go back there to take pictures.. if anyone has one they know is authentic please let me know any details you have so i can check it

Posters that a printed to be pasted up over other posters are printed on blue backed paper to reduce "show through", especially important on a poster like this one where there is so much white as you wouldn't want to see the poster it was pasted over.
Sounds genuine to me as long as the size matches up with what the ones to flypost should be (i've no idea).
On another note, i appreciate these film posters are much more affordable than banksy prints - but i'm not sure i'd want a framed one on my wall - the image just doesn't do it for me.

exactly, how can you have an 'authentic' poster. they're open prints on flimsy paper anyway. crazy
