Urban Angel, by urbanangel on Feb 14, 2008 22:11:49 GMT 1, Quick update.
First off, thanks to everyone that's been in touch, for all the support since we launched. We could have never hoped for such a successful launch, and one of the reasons i haven't posted recently is due to how busy we've been...so thanks again.
We were aware of some teething issues with the site at launch and think we have resolved most, if not all of them. There were some DNS problems (whatever a DNS is?), plus a pipeline in the middle east was cut in half, plus the host had issues with a new server they were testing...all of which confused the hell out of us, as we really didn't know what the real cause of the problem was.
We think we are on top of everything now.
The two email addresses that you should use are:-
sales@urbanangel.com info@urbanangel.com
We may still have issues receiving emails from Mac and AOL addresses but we are working through all possible solutions.
We have also added a new section to the home-page called 'New Arrivals'.
As we have so much work on the site, some customers had emailed asking what was new. We have added over £200k worth of new work since launch, some of which is currently in the New Arrivals section (some isn't, as even we forgot what we had added:)
Please remember to sign up if you haven't yet. Members benefit from access to stock prior to it going on the site, and also at a reduced price, so it's worth joining.
Thanks again to everyone and we'll keep you posted with updates over the coming weeks.
Urban Angel.

The current edition is £3000 Inc VAT.
All 5 have been pre-sold and it takes around 1 month to make / paint each piece (edition).
We will be releasing a new edition around June time. Unsure of price yet. Will need to speak with the artist at the time. The new one will also be an edition of 5. All unique.
The only part of the edition which is the same, is the hand-cut cardboard stencil that is put together to create the image. It's all on plain white cardboard.
Then the whole thing is hand painted, hence why each piece is so different.
Thanks for showing an interest:)

Urban Angel, by urbanangel on Apr 29, 2008 23:50:55 GMT 1, Quick post.
Some new work by DFace, Neate, Nick Walker, Michael De Foe, KAWS, Herakut, TFreak, Cleon Peterson and more in the New Arrivals section.
www.urbanangel.com/department/new_arrivals/
The site will also be going through a re-vamp in the next few weeks. Hopefully it'll be more user friendly and also feature a News section, and a long overdue Links page.
We're working hard towards our show and have some very strong interest from other artists, which we will hopefully end up working with on a permanent basis.
It also looks like a few of the artists we work with will be spraying away at the Cans Festival...so fingers crossed.
Thanks for the continued support.

Urban Angel, by urbanangel on Jun 12, 2008 15:55:30 GMT 1, Dear All,
The website has gone through a few changes, hopefully you're finding it easy to use.
The 12 latest New Arrivals now appear on the bottom of the home-page, but it's always worth checking the New Arrivals page itself, as we are constantly getting new artworks into stock.
Within the New Arrivals pages, artworks are split into 12 pieces per page, so please remember to click through all pages in order to see what we have recently received.
www.urbanangel.com/department/new_arrivals/
If you want to browse the site in a more general fashion, please click on Available Artworks, then either Our Artists, Other Artists or Consigned Artworks, depending on what you would like to view.
We are also please to announce that we have signed Inkie and will be offering original works for sale. We have 5 canvases available at present and they can be found here, along with the artists Bio:-
www.urbanangel.com/department/inkie/
We are very close to closing the guest list for the Buyers Preview for our show in August, so if you haven't added yourself yet, I would strongly advise getting in touch so that we can place you on the list.
Thanks to everyone for their continued support.

Urban Angel, by urbanangel on Jan 8, 2009 1:38:57 GMT 1, Been a quiet on the forum recently, due to the Gallery opening and still having tons of work to do, plus a move of inventory from our Hertfordshire address to the new one.
Also busy working behind the scenes on upcoming shows. Already have 10 confirmed between March and December.
There will be a smallish, invite only show which starts on the 5th Feb. A mixture of primary and secondary work, and not all of it for sale. Some of the work wouldn't have been seen in the UK before, and some may have been seen, but not by many. So worth a visit if you can make it.
We don't even have a name for it yet, but we're working away and details will be announced shortly.
We are also just about to have a massive sale to make way for all of the new work which will be added over the coming few months. We're creating a separate TAB within the website, which will be emailed to our database soon.
Hope to be back posting on a more regular basis as of 19th Jan, which is when BT move our Internet connect upstairs, so we can actually use it in the gallery!
Thanks as always for the continued support.
Andrew
