If they want to make a point they should storm the BP head quarters and poor oil all over the place.

Gets in the publics faces though this way, more than trying to sabotage an hq and it getting their efforts promptly swept under the carpet would. Much more difficult to ignore this..

Surely its better to tell the public the facts and then let the people decide if they want to continue buying fuel from BP. I don't like the idea of Greenpeace forcing their beliefs onto people with no choice

And I don't like BP's shoddy work practices killing animals, ruining the environment, putting people out of work, employing f***wits. There are no excuses for cutting back on safety measures.
Don't be distracted. Look at what BP have done. Greenpeaces activities are nothing in comparison to the disruption caused by this company.
Do not look at what Greenpeace are doing in isolation; this is what they do - to make us aware of what we are doing to this planet through exploitation and greed.

Hope they are open tomorrow so I can get a sandwich from their M&S concession shop. I imagine they will be as I imagine that one days work is enough to knacker most of these 'activists'.

All the facts? Hell no.
Is BP being held accountable for the true cost of the spill? Not even close.
Does Greenpeace raise important questions and make people think, and debate? Yep.

And to all the Greenpeace critics, I ask what the F are you doing to help?

I'm sure they are being held more than accountable for the cost....and some! Apparently those who help with the clean up can charge $40 an hour for their services.

In my opinion all Greenpeace have done here is piss people off.

I bloody hate Greenpeace.

I used to donate a sizeable sum (for me) on a monthly basis to them, I never wanted any thanks for it but what I didn't want was them ringing me up at all hours of the day (normally very late at night) and guilt tripping me into increasing my payments. This happened every week for months until I told them to poke it.

Learning the facts takes effort. Much more fun to just go out and protest instead.

I understand what you are saying about the fundraising. I feel your pain. I get so much junk mail it is crazy, and i don't donate nearly as much as I should.

As for the $40 an hour, that doesn't come close to covering the environmental devastation that generations will have to live with.
