I've got some new cataloguing software so that I can build a full database to record the location of Guy's work.
There have been issues over the years of work being sold with the incorrect titles, lost, stolen and even forged. If you have work it is in your interest to get it recorded officially with its correct catalogue number (these numbers have already been assigned to our photographic record only).
There is also now an increase in numbers of people wanting Certificates of Authenticity and if you bought work without these then following a little check up they can be provided.
If any collectors of Guy's work can let me know by email which original artworks they have I can add their details to the database.
Contact me directly (all details will be held confidentially and NOT passed on to any third party)

I'm a bit unclear. Have Red Propeller passed you the details of the buyers or do you want the buyers to email you?

I think this is more of a present holders database(similiar to POW) which has got to be a good idea if it prevents fraudulent activity.

We do not have a record of who owns what. As a rule galleries do not tell artists who buys their work.
Guy has a photographic record of most of his work since the 80s and he would like to connect names of collectors to the work that's all. He also lost about twenty years work in a studio fire 3 years ago and this might help clear up more accurately what was or wasn't lost in that fire.
It isn't anything shifty! If you would like to be recorded as owning any original drawing or painting on what will be the definitive catalogue of Guys work please email me. If you don't then there is nothing I or Guy can do to make you! !
In the past Guy has been contacted by a collector who lost some pieces in a burglary and as we sold them directly we could verify to their insurance agent with price, photo record, ownership, work details etc.
