bonhams Vision 21 Knightsbridge, 16 Mar 2011, by Deleted on Mar 16, 2011 19:06:16 GMT 1, i went down to view the work for sale and i was amazed at the poor condition of many of the pieces. the gwb print in particular was in a terrible state (lots of creases and a few marks to boot) not to mention an ill-fitting frame. for 11k the buyer must have bought this without viewing it. the vlh was mint though...

bonhams Vision 21 Knightsbridge, 16 Mar 2011, by Martin M on Mar 16, 2011 19:52:27 GMT 1, I also went to view jl, and agree that the GWB paper was waved, fixable i suppose, and better than a few i`ve viewed recently. Had a few bids but didn't think it would fetch ยฃ13200. VLH price is mental.

Very strong Banksy results; amazing price for the GWB if it wasn't in good condition and also for the VLH. Not a bad price on the Sepia Morons either!!

bonhams Vision 21 Knightsbridge, 16 Mar 2011, by wizzy on Mar 16, 2011 22:57:41 GMT 1, The Arad Rovers in Vision were not genuine ones but copies (in my opinion and others too as have to say that), frame wrong, paint finish wrong, Kee Klamp wrong, buyer beware.

I would have gone for the Marc Newson Chair, a steal at ยฃ420
Lot No: 198
Marc Newson for Cappellini, a 'Felt' Chair, designed 1994 reinforced fibreglass and aluminium 83cm
--------------------------------------------------- Also the Eine canvas from an edition of 5 wasn't too bad, although I'd have liked more variety of colour.
Lot No: 328AR
Eine (British, born 1970) 'People Are Happier Here', 2006 signed, dated, titled and numbered '1/5' verso, stencil spray paint on canvas 76 x 76cm (29 15/16 x 29 15/16in).

bonhams Vision 21 Knightsbridge, 16 Mar 2011, by Urban Cowboy on Mar 17, 2011 0:23:26 GMT 1, Gutted about the Small and not because I own a couple but because I didn't buy it. Would never have thought would go so low. More fool me for not leaving silly absentee bid. Can't believe seller didn't have a reserve.

bonhams Vision 21 Knightsbridge, 16 Mar 2011, by pezlow on Mar 17, 2011 11:16:34 GMT 1, I quite fancy some of the furniture they have in these sales. Looking for a new dining room table and some of these were very nice.

bonhams Vision 21 Knightsbridge, 16 Mar 2011, by Deleted on Mar 17, 2011 11:25:17 GMT 1, I did bid on a couple of pieces - some of the furniture pieces were cracking.
the prints were in pretty bad nick - the vlh was in mint condition and I think this played a part in the bidding. The Guy Denning piece was a cracker and that sold cheap, as I think did the Andy Warhol Queen Elizabeth.
The Faile print had fold creases, was it standard for that print?

On the other hand I quite liked the Faile piece, and think that went for a reasonable price.
