New Replete portrait on antique printers tray, by Replete on Mar 9, 2011 18:58:06 GMT 1, Hi all,

Got another installment in my series of portraits on found objects for you. It's entitled To Plunge Face First Into The Font's Boundaries. It's painted in spraypaint on a 100 year old antique wooden printer's tray that was used to contain the metal typesets for a printing press .



It's 32"x16" (roughly 90cmx45cm).

There's plenty of details like the shards of the piece's title being fractured across the piece (fitting the typeset theme) and some of the original wood grain and nails being visible at the edges of the painting.
