Jamie Reid Prints from 1997 Price Check (offers), by goatislander on Apr 14, 2011 19:15:23 GMT 1, I don't know much about the market for J. Reid prints and I'm trying to help out a friend. Where is the best place to sell these (ebay, banksy.info, etc.)?
I'm trying to figure out what these are worth to determine an asking price. You're help is appreciated. Also, if interested shoot me a PM to see if we can work things out. Condition: Mint, Location: Los Angeles, Provenance Included.

Jamie Reid Prints from 1997 Price Check (offers), by PUD on Apr 15, 2011 11:53:42 GMT 1, The Gold and Silver on blue are the best postage stamp queens to have, for some reason the pink & orange busses is the most popular. I would say ยฃ300 for the Bus and ยฃ250 ish for the Queen, ยฃ500 the pair would be a good price!
Personally I love them and would hang onto them if I were you, Jamie is very much underrated at the moment, his importance in the 70's punk movement will make his work very important one day! Only my opinion of course!! Good luck!

Jamie Reid Prints from 1997 Price Check (offers), by Strange Al on Apr 15, 2011 13:24:24 GMT 1, These are two iconic Reid prints, which I'd happily hang on my walls.
As others have said, his artwork played such a seminal role in the punk movement and has had a massive influence on design since. I'm certain that he'll be remembered long after most of the street artists discussed on the board are forgotten.
Unfortunately, Reid prints really don't make the money they deserve to at the moment. I think in part because Jamie appears to approach the sale of his work in a rather haphazard fashion. He's had a fairly high output, too many average quality digital prints IMO and he's not shy about releasing variations on a theme. When you buy a Reid you can never be sure that you won't see further variants of essentially the same design at some point in the future (in fact, you can almost bank on the fact that you will). In that sense, very little of his work is truly "limited edition" in nature. Although, given his punk background, it would feel strange if his work was managed in any other way.
I agree that Ebay is probably the best way of selling them, if you're friend is keen to move them on. Personally, I'd hang on to them.
