Your latest Art Purchase?, by Deleted on Dec 23, 2008 0:14:01 GMT 1, Conor Harrington oil on canvas in an acrylic box frame with black opaque acrylic sides. Big thank you to Mrframeman for great service once again. The simple lines really suit this piece with the box frame size kept to a minimum so as not to detract from the work. what did the frame cost you?

Thanks HC, Im very happy to have the piece framed and ready to hang. I bought the work recently from a forum member, not sure it was advertised on the board though.

Looks like you did very well.

I wasnt in a position to get the best choice, but quite like the ones I got, sepecially the Sarah Thomas. Here you go:
Sarah Thomas
Tony Warner - GMKR
Rosalind GrimShaw - Grandpa Still Looking at the Sea
Jan Roe - Ancestor

Your latest Art Purchase?, by lee3 on Dec 24, 2008 22:57:55 GMT 1, nice collection deepheat, are the Weston super Mare and the Happy Choppers/Have a nice day artist's proofs? I'm simply not a print expert but both of those look unique in that format from what i have seen. At some point I need to get myself a Rude Copper, that's just such a great image. Nicely done

Your latest Art Purchase?, by deepheat on Dec 24, 2008 23:28:47 GMT 1, The green Weston Super Mare was a test run, they decided to go with grey and the green was never released, not even as a/p. The strech pulp was released by Laz as a small signed run, mines an unsigned test print. The Happy Choppers / Have a nice day is a poster, most were given away unsigned and folded with Sleazenation magazine, a few were signed and not folded.
With framing I'm now getting Mr Frameman to make my frames and I'm doing the mounts and hanging myself. Its way cheaper & makes it easier to swap things around.
Anyway merry xmas everyone.

Unfortunately, the green Weston Super Mare and The stretch Pulp fiction were released in large numbers... All over ebay by the twats and their friends in the midlands who stole them from the printers.
As such, like all other un-numbered or un-signed prints, they're worthless.

not worthless if you like the image, although i know where your coming from. i wouldnt buy the piece knowing it had been stolen.
