NEW POLLY MORGAN LITHOS @ EYESTORM!, by Ruggs on Apr 15, 2011 11:21:09 GMT 1, Ever since Polly Morgan's first taxidermy piece was exhibited at Zoo Art Fair in 2005, which lead to an invitation to show alongside Banksy at his gallery, she's been taking the art world by storm with her beautiful sculptural works.
Her well-received solo show at Haunch of Venison in London last September catapulted her into the forefront of the British art scene, and her work is now extremely sought-after and has been purchased by high-profile collectors and celebrities.
We're excited to be working with Morgan on our most recent publications: Two limited edition lithographs.
Both titled 'Myocardial Infarction' and depicting a group of Love Birds feeding from a human heart, the prints follow the concept of Morgan's work, focussing on the utilization of death, whilst referencing the drawings of 19th century illustrators such as Edward Lear and John James Audubon.
The colour print, an edition of 50, is available for a limited period at the pre-publication price of £335 inc. VAT, and the more exclusive black and white piece, an edition of just 10, for £560 inc. VAT. See the works in more detail and buy online from today.
The colour piece will be debuted alongside other new works from Eyestorm artists at our stand at the London Original Print Fair next week, which takes place at the Royal Academy of Arts between Tues 19th and Thurs 21st April.

NEW POLLY MORGAN LITHOS @ EYESTORM!, by Deleted on Apr 15, 2011 13:58:06 GMT 1, I dont think its a bad thing to be fair. She needs an income, and she cannot flood the market with originals and mini additions all the time as it would devalue her work. So from a money making point of view it makes sense to me. And would keep the prices or her taxidermy work where they should be imo.

NEW POLLY MORGAN LITHOS @ EYESTORM!, by Pattycakes on Apr 16, 2011 12:54:06 GMT 1, poor man's Walton Ford. It's a shame I do quite like what Polly does, eyestorm was a bad move for her, they are a horrible publisher, who produce the poorest quality prints. What a shame
